The Hopi Credit Association is a Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) loan fund. As a Native CDFI the HCA is dedicated to the realization of full economic development for Hopi Tribal members. The HCA mission is “to enhance the quality of life by providing lending, financial education, and training opportunities for our Hopi Sinom to become informed consumers.” HCA advances its mission by providing a range of financial products and development services to Hopi tribal members residing on the Hopi Reservation.
Loans & Services
We offer Personal, Business, Home Construction / Improvement, and Mobile Home loans. To qualify, you must be enrolled with the Hopi Tribe, reside on the Hopi reservation*, and have verifiable income.
* Exception: a home loan under certain conditions.
Financial Literacy
Hopi Credit Association offers financial education classes or one on one training to help build the financial capacity of Hopi Senom. Our goal is to create informed borrowers and consumers.Small Business Support
Hopi Credit Association supports Hopi Small Business owners by providing training, lending, and other resources to aid the small business owner on Hopi to succeed.
The HCA has several products geared to the business owner on Hopi, including a micro-enterprise loan program.
