A grant in the amount of $20,080.43 was received from the Hopi Tribe in 2020. The purpose of the grant was to provide assistance to organizations serving Hopi Tribal members that had encountered additional needs to assist members due to COVID-19 and its effects on the community. Hopi Credit Association applied for and used the grant in several areas:
- A ramp and window service reception area was constructed to allow safe interaction between the public and staff.
- Internet service and laptops were purchase for employees to work remotely from home to continue service for our clients.
- Software and subscriptions necessary for remote work.
- Personal protection supplies such as masks, gloves, and sanitizing products.
Purchase of a conference monitor for remote meetings and financial education classes.
