HCA Membership

As a membership organization, HCA requires the purchase of shares as part of fees when approved for a loan with the HCA.

Members can participate in the organization by attending our annual membership meeting. The membership meeting is held each year in March. The annual membership meeting is an opportunity for our members to socialize and learn about HCA performance in the last year.

The HCA Board of Directors, who govern our organization is made up of our membership. There is one (5) year term up for election each year. The HCA will announce when letters of interest will be accepted from the membership for the vacancy. The membership will then vote at the annual membership meeting to elect a new board member.

When your credit obligation has been satisfied with the HCA, members have the option of “retiring” their shares with the HCA. Retiring is the process of requesting payout for the number of shares held in the HCA.
